Flex Halo™ — Hybrid VRA Reinforcer Video + Toy in One System

Flex Halo is a next-generation visual reinforcement audiometry (VRA) solution that combines the engagement of video with the realism of physical toys in a single, compact unit. Using a transparent display, Flex Halo creates the effect of lifelike toys appearing to spin in mid-air while also delivering high-contrast video content. The result is a unique, attention-grabbing stimulus that helps clinicians maintain engagement and obtain more reliable responses during pediatric hearing evaluations.

Flex Video VRA

The Flex VRA is the first wireless visual reinforcement audiometry system of it’s kind to combine toy, animal and cartoon video stimulation into one system. The intuitive remote control provides the audiologist complete control of every aspect of the test including:

• Type of video to display
• Animated light bar on/off
• Volume adjustment and mute
• Activate all monitors at once (localization)
• Distract mode for use during OAE and Tympanometry testing
• Video Skip/Repeat

Flex Toy

The Flex Toy VRA is a simple straight forward Toy VRA system with movement of the toy characters and box lights for added attraction. These Toys can be paired with Flex Video VRA systems. Each system comes with two remote controls, so one can be outside the sound room and one inside. There are many optional Character packages available to customize the experience for the child.

Flex VROCA

Visual Reinforcement Operant Conditioning Audiometry (VROCA) is a behavioral hearing test used for older children and adults who are unable to reliably complete traditional VRA audiometry. Instead of requiring a simple hand raise or button press alone, VROCA combines an operant response with a visual reward, improving attention, compliance, and response accuracy.

By reinforcing correct responses with visual content, VROCA keeps patients engaged without overstimulating the test environment. Clinicians gain greater confidence in responses while patients experience a clearer, more intuitive testing process.

Flex Cover

The Flex Cover is available for windows and doors with the goal to be heard and not seen. It is battery-powered with a wireless remote control. It mounts to the sound booth with strong magnets, making installation easy.
